Precisely as Planned, alone offers the intensive education to starting your own wedding consulting business. Our apprenticeship is a unique six month position that is a extensive study of all aspects of wedding planning. We are one of the few apprenticeship programs that offer an internationally recognized program through which you may receive certification. In the apprenticeship program, in addition to enrollment in the Association of Bridal Consultants Professional Development Program, you will be involved in the planning, staging, event design and final production of at least two weddings.
You will be able to choose the two event dates that work for you and attend as many meetings and appointments with brides upon their schedule. You will attend an initial consultation and a final planning meeting as well as help create the wedding day itineraries, emergency contact lists, vendor contact lists and detailed to-do lists. As an apprentice you will also attend the rehearsals and be present for coordination of the Wedding Day. Not only will you get hands on experience in the wedding consulting field you will also attend one on one training seminars that will show you how to run your business, how to get more brides, and learn the ins and outs of becoming a certified wedding consultant. In addition to the certification received by ABC, you will be awarded a certificate of completion from Precisely as Planned and the use of approved photos and/or media may be included in your portfolio.

Apprenticeship program and certificate cost is $1595 (including the cost of the ABC membership and Professional Development Program, a value of over $700).
